Ms. Opal Lee, dubbed the “Grandmother of Juneteenth,” channeled pain into passion and advocated passionately for Juneteenth to become a national holiday because, as she says, “it’s a unifying holiday.”
This Juneteenth we celebrate a shared heart to unify through committed work towards a vision of racial healing and justice that repairs wounds and cultivates systems where all people flourish.
The following resources have been curated and designed to assist you (and your organization) in celebrating Juneteenth 2022. The first piece is a full feature video with stories, educational elements, worship music and more.
You’re invited to use the full celebration or elements of it in your context.
We also invite you to “like” and “share” social media as this helps us maximize our impact!
